This page covers how content gets researched, written, and maintained on Goliry.

Editorial Judgment Isn’t for Sale

What we recommend, and how we rank things, is decided by our own evaluation — never by who pays the largest affiliate commission. See the Affiliate Disclosure for the full picture of how the site earns money.

What Goes Into a Piece of Content

Where possible, guides and reviews draw on hands-on experience, direct comparison of options, and information that can be independently verified. When we’re relying on manufacturer or vendor material rather than our own testing, we try to be upfront about that.

Sourcing

We favor primary sources — our own use of a product, official documentation, publicly available data — over secondhand summaries or marketing claims repeated without checking them.

Correcting Mistakes

We take accuracy seriously. Errors are fixed as soon as we know about them, and for anything significant, we note that a correction was made. See the full process in the Corrections & Complaints Policy.

Content Isn’t Frozen in Time

Prices and product details shift constantly, so older posts get revisited periodically. Where a post shows a last-updated date, that reflects the most recent substantive edit.

Sponsored Content Is Labeled

If a post is paid for directly, or its inclusion is influenced by a partner beyond a standard affiliate arrangement, it will be marked “Sponsored” or “Promoted.” See the Advertising & Sponsorship Policy.

Who’s Writing This

Goliry is currently a small, independently run operation; content is written and fact-checked by people with direct familiarity with the topic at hand.
