Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, along with similar laws in other states, residents of California (and some other states) can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information — including data passed to advertising partners for behavioral ad targeting.

Why This Matters for a Site Like Ours

Like most ad- and affiliate-funded publishers, we work with advertising and affiliate technology partners who may receive identifiers such as cookie IDs or IP addresses to serve relevant ads and track affiliate conversions. Under CCPA/CPRA, this can count as a “sale” or “sharing,” even when no direct payment for your personal data changes hands.

How to Opt Out

  • Adjust cookie preferences through the Site’s consent banner (where one is shown) to disable advertising/analytics cookies;
  • Email admin@goliry.com with the subject line “CCPA Opt-Out Request,” including your name and, if relevant, the email address tied to your activity on the Site;
  • Use a recognized opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control, where our systems support it.

Verifying Your Identity

We may ask you to confirm your identity before processing a request. Exercising these rights won’t result in different treatment on the Site.

Using an Authorized Agent

You may have someone else submit a request for you. We may require proof of their authorization along with verification of your own identity.
